On Saturday March 3, The Media Center had a video production shoot for the YWCA at our in house Studio. We are putting together a video production for the YWCA’s 100 Years of Service Anniversary. It will be showcased at the “2012 Women of Achievement” Gala, March 9, from Noon-1:30pm at the Embassy Suites in Charleston, WV. The Event is held to honor Women of Achievement and YWCA’s Leading Change For 100 Years.

February 21, The Media Center shot some footage for an AARP Video Production Project that we're working on. Here are some photos from the shoot.

This video contains two clips from a long form video The Media Center produced for the Education Alliance. The entire video is about 12 minutes long and is designed to be played for community organizations. It explores the causes of dropouts with interviews of students and community leaders and acts as a launching point for discussions of how to help.

Many thanks to Julie Pratt and Emily Schoen for giving us the opportunity to work on this important project. It was our great pleasure to work with such caring and dedicated people.

The WV Chamber came to The Media Center with a bit of a quandary. How do you illustrate the uneven distribution of WV delegates, compare that to the rest of the United States where all but one other state has even distribution of delegates, explain that nine counties don't have a delegate, point out that if this isn't changed now then it'll be 10 years before the issues can be revisited and give a call to action all in an attention grabbing 30 seconds?

We put our heads together with our friends at The WV Chamber and Gallagher Consulting and developed this spot.
