May 2, 2012 - The Media Center provided live satellite news/media coverage for West Virginia Department of Highways, Federal Highway Administration officials, and the West Virginia State Police who have announced the beginning of the 2012 Work Zone Safety and Awareness season during a media event at the state capitol in Charleston.

May 1, 2012 - The Media Center provided live news coverage via-satellite at the Culture Center near the State Capitol Complex in Charleston, WV Monday, with State Treasurer, John Purdue, and the fifteen winning students from various elementary schools around the state of WV.

March 11, 2012 - The Media Center provided live news coverage via-satellite at Chestnut Ridge Artist Colony in Spencer, WV today, for a Press Conference held for WV Artist-Blacksmith Jeff Fetty, who's been named "One Of The World's Seven Premier Metal Designers," and selected to be featured in the "2012 International Metal Design Annual."

On March 9, 2012, the YWCA of Charleston WV recognized four Women of Achievement at their annual Gala at Embassy Suites. The YWCA is also celebrating their 100th Birthday this year. The Women of Achievement honorees were Linda Arnold, Dr. Ethel Caffie-Austin, Debra Sullivan, and last but certainly not least, Threece Clements-Townsend. These women are all extraordinary in their own unique way.
