Pre-visualization with computer animation


Pre-visualization is the use of computer animation to visualize something before it actually exists. Often it's used with architecture like the example presented here. This animation was developed as part of a fund raising video for the West Virginia Sport Museum and Hall of Fame, so we needed to go beyond just creating a true-to-life representation of the final building. We needed imagery that would fire the imagination and get people excited! Since the key feature of the showroom was the plan to also use it as a banquet hall we made it transform, bringing the building to life.

In this video you'll see a portion of the final pre-visualization animation, followed by a look at the 3D wireframe use to create it. Below that are some images of the computer animation.
